My Story

I am a country kid through and through. My rural roots can be seen in many of my paintings. My wife and I live on a little over three acres outside of Carey, Ohio and many of my landscapes are scenes from our backyard.

I started painting when I was a youngster. I am primarily a self-taught artist but have been influenced by several of the PBS artists. (Yes Bob Ross was one of my early influences.)

I work in a little studio in our house. I am primarily an acrylic painter, although I do dabble in watercolors on occasion.
